As part of the CKR Conversation series, our second episode focuses on photography. Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Cape Town (UCT), Nomusa Makhubu is joined by curator of Photography and New Media, Ingrid Masondo, veteran photographer and documentary filmmaker, Moira Forjaz as well as renowned photographer, Ruth Seopedi Motau. Amongst other things, the conversation looks at photography and its relationship to re-memory: how we remember, configure and articulate events, moments as well historical narratives and processes.
